We recently interviewed Price and he seemed optimistic about making the jump to the majors. It looks like the Rays front office is in the same frame of mind as him. According to mlb.com, Price has been promoted to the AAA Durham Bulls. I would expect for him to make a couple starts for the team in Durham and then get promoted to the majors to play a role in the bullpen.
During his time in Durham Price held an ERA of 1.89 while going 7-0. Through 15 games in the minors Price has yet to lose a game, which is something Rays fans hope he can carry over to the big league level.
